1 Apr (Fri): Talk on "Horseshoe Crabs Today & Tomorrow"

Open to the Public

Fossil records of horseshoe crabs date back to over 400 million years ago. Today, the four remaining species face threats from many anthropogenic factors. What is the current state of horseshoe crabs in the world? What can be done to mitigate the factors that might lead to the loss of these ancient species? Join Vanitha J as she discusses these questions. She will also share her experience and insights gained at the 3rd International Workshop on the Science and Conservation of Horseshoe Crabs held in Japan last year.
