2 Dec (Sat): Foodplant Tour of the Bukit Panjang Community Gardens

In the past, Bukit Panjang was a rural, farming village settlement. Although now a modern high-rise housing estate, land here has been released to residents keen to revive those village farming days. Their gardens here are lush and bountiful, showcasing a huge variety of fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, spices, medicinal and also flowering plants.
Come for this walk to see what you can grow in your flat or garden, share on the uses of local aromatic plants, and simply learn how to grow green stuff. Pocket Greens is a company based there with a nursery shop where we can buy salad and vegetable seedlings to instantly get started.

For gardeners, chefs and plant-lovers. Please note that this tour will be pitched at adults, but kids of participants may tag along to play in the dirt.

Meeting and end point: HDB Block 210 Petir Road.
