Are you looking for something creative for your child to do? Head down for a fun-filled 2 hours workshop by artist Ms Joyotee Ray Chaudhury, where your child can learn to create nature-inspired art pieces using dry leaves!

Your guides are experienced and knowledgeable field naturalists, so expect amazing encounters and delightful discoveries during this special walk at Pulau Ubin. As well as fascinating stories about the history and heritage of Pulau Ubin.

Please bring along insect repellent, sun-screen, sun-hat, poncho, bottle of water. Optional items if you have them, do bring along your binoculars and a camera.

Two groups each maximum 20 persons, first-come-first-served.

Time: 8am - 11am, meet at 7.40am.
Meeting point: Assembly Area, 200m or a 6-min walk from Ubin Jetty  (map).
Cost: $15 per participant, payment on the spot. Proceeds will be donated to the Herpetological Society of Singapore.

Open to the Public - Registration Needed

Specially for Pesta Ubin. Pulau Ubin is an Important Bird and Biodiversity Area (IBA) with various healthy habitats rich in animals and plants. Make a difference by helping to clean up its forest while learning about a variety of conservation issues and how you can become a better steward of nature.

1 Jul (Sat): Learning Forest Tour

Attend our complimentary tour of The Learning Forest every Saturday of the Month starting 8 April as we showcase the biodiversity of our latest attraction.
The Learning Forest features a network of boardwalks and elevated walkways that allow visitors to explore habitats ranging from a freshwater forest wetland to a lowland rainforest. Visitors can learn about freshwater forest wetland ecosystems at the Keppel Discovery Wetlands and walk amongst a collection of some of the tallest tree species in Southeast Asia at the SPH Walk of Giants.

1 Jul (Sat): Free Pasir Ris Mangrove boardwalk tour with the Naked Hermit Crabs

Specially for kids and families, explore Pasir Ris mangroves with volunteer nature guides from the Naked Hermit Crabs on this FREEguided tour of the boardwalk!
During our evening stroll through this interesting but often overlooked mangrove, we are sure to see lots of crazy tree climbing crabs, delightful giant mudskippers and cool monitor lizards. Pasir Ris is also one of the few places where nesting herons are easily observed. And as the sun sets, we might spot some nocturnal animals like watersnakes. If we're lucky, we may catch a glimpse of the rare Mangrove pitta or the family of otters that have been seen here! More details on the Naked Hermit Crabs blog.

1 Jul (Sat): Free tour of the Healing Garden, Botanic Gardens

Launched in October 2011, the Healing Garden showcases over 400 varieties of plants used medicinally. It is laid out thematically relating to component parts of the body such as head, respiratory and reproductive systems. Spread over 2.5 hectares, this garden is designed as a tranquil retreat with medical plants traditionally used in Southeast Asia as the main focus.
Please note that the Healing Garden is closed every Tuesday, and opened 5am - 7.30pm daily. Admission is free.

Registration is required 15 minutes before the tour at the Visitor Centre. Mandarin tours are only available at 10am. English tours are available for all slots. This tour repeats every First Saturday of the month. More details online.
