Happy New Year!

Upcoming events for the year

2008 is International Year of the Reefs and many groups in Singapore have come together to consolidate events in celebration of our reefs. Check these out on the IYOR Singapore blog. Among the highlights are free talks offered by volunteers about our marine life.

Support our reefs by coming for the many events organised this year. Display the IYOR logo on your blog or website. If you have an event that you'd like to include in the celebrations, we'd love to hear from you! Drop an email to iyor08singapore@gmail.com

Upcoming events this week

The year begins with the steadfast tours at our wild places: at the mangrove boardwalk at Sungei Buloh, the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Lower Peirce boardwalk.

There's also a tour of a vegetable garden at Bishan Park.

There has been no signs up for the Naked Hermit Crab's Chek Jawa Boardwalk tour so it might be cancelled. But if you have a big group and sign up early, they might do it for you.

Upcoming events next week

Next week's big event is SharkWater a charity premier in aid of the "Say No to Shark's Fins" campaign in Singapore.
