14 Apr (Sat): Birdwatching at Lorong Halus

This walk is open to the public and is led by Jimmy Lee. It will start at the Punggol Promenade. For years, Little Grebes have made their home at Lorong Halus, an old rubbish dump site. Grassland birds such as the Yellow-bellied Prinia, Baya Weaver, Long-tailed Shrike, munias and more thrive here. In 2011, PUB completed works to create 'Lorong Halus Wetland' to help purify water that flows through the dump site.

NSS Kids will have a dedicated kids guide.
