Join this guided walk to identify passerine birds from their calls. Passerine relates to the largest order of birds (Passeriformes) consists typically birds with feet adapted for perching. You will help carry out a bird census. A great opportunity to learn how a passerine bird census is done and to identify birds by their calls.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a bottle of drinking water, hat,
insect repellent. NO flash photography allowed. Event is weather
permitting.
Time: 8am-12noon
Venue: Meet at the Visitor Centre, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.
Entry charges: While the walk is free, admission fees to the Reserve apply: $1 per adult, 50cents per child/student/senior citizen.
