How well do we know planet Earth? Using the most advanced film-making methods ever developed, EARTH takes us on a tour of our home as we’ve never seen it before.
In a time when the world-wide awareness of the fragility of our home planet is gaining momentum, this film fascinates the audience in a gentle way and spurs you to consider the effects of your actions on its current state.
BBC and Greenlight Media AG bring you a remarkable story of three animal families on a journey across our planet -- polar bears, elephants and humpback whales. Filmed with the newest exposure techniques, showcasing spectacular aerial shots and five years in production close-up views, EARTH captures perspectives not usually seen by most people.
The Singapore Environment Council (SEC) invites you to support this charity movie premiere in conjunction with celebrations of EARTH Day.
The funds raised will be used for our public awareness and education programmes in Schools and the community. Your support for this cause is important in encouraging and inspiring the children, and raising awareness of individuals towards environmental conservation.
The movie will be screened at SHAW Lido - the largest and latest movie hall with digital screens.
