25 May (Tue): Talk on "Plant Blindness - What Research Says"

Have you heard of the term "Plant Blindness"? This theory explains how persons who have had few prior experiences with plants "see" the plant kingdom.

Professor Jim Wandersee and his colleagues from Louisiana State University (USA) noted that this phenomenon is most prevalent among city-dwellers. In this talk, Prof Wandersee will highlight some things plant science educators and parents can do to raise children who are not "plant blind".
