Part of NPark's Nature Keeper Programme, kids will learn that releasing animals into the nature reserves, reservoirs, parks and waterways will cause them more harm than help. Most of the animals released are bought from pet shops and are domesticated animals. Most of them are unable to fend for themselves, and an estimated 90% of the released animals die within the day. Kids will also learn that having a pet is a responsibility and one will have to look after the pet for as long as the pet lives.Suitable for children aged 7 to 12 years old. Nature Keeper Programme is designed to stimulate the interest of young children in our forest and natural heritage. Children will have both indoor learning as well as outdoor field walks and experiences. More about the Nature Keeper Programme.
