The natural environment of Singapore has undergone tremendous changes over the past 200 years. The Yishun area has seen a full range of gambier, pineapple and rubber plantations, vegetable and fish farms, forestry and reservoir construction before becoming the thriving residential area it is today.
Join Tony O’Dempsey as he discusses how these changes have affected the natural and cultural environment of Yishun in the last 200 years.
