For Nature Society (Singapore) members only
Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park is a pleasant green lung of open lawns, a good mix of trees and shrubs with a river (de-concretised former canal) meandering through it. This urban park in central Singapore is also home to an interesting mix of bird species. They include the White-breasted Waterhen, Collared and White-throated Kingfishers, Grey-rumped Treeswift, Yellow-vented Bulbul and Pink-necked Green Pigeon. It provides a great introduction to birdwatching for newcomers.
Please bring along a pair of binoculars if you have them. Hat, sunblock and drinks.
