for Nature Society (Singapore) members only
Calling all members with or without children – Learn the basics of growing your own food indoors or outdoors from Andrew Tay. We will start with a guided stroll around Bollywood Farm to view the diversity of vegetables, herbs and fruits grown here, and learn how they do it. We will then proceed to the workshop shed where Andrew will share about soils, pots, organic fertilisers, watering and easy methods of plant propagation. We will learn how to grow several food plants including the Kang Kong, Lettuce, Celery, Mint, Basil and Rosemary. Participants then select two plants to pot up and bring home to begin your own food garden. The workshop ends with a set lunch (with vegetarian option) at Bollywood’s Poison Ivy Restaurant.
