The United Nations designated the first Monday of October as World Habitat Day to reflect on the state of the habitats of people, and on the basic right of all to adequate shelter.Join Cicada Tree Eco-Place on this walk to celebrate.
This day is also to remind us that everyone has the power and the responsibility to shape the future of our habitats. This rainforest habitat walk is to remind us that we share our habitat Planet Earth and co-exist with an incredible diversity of other Earthling living things. We must therefore conserve and protect their habitats for them too. And doing so, in return, sustains our people's habitats. We will take an easy stroll on the level trails shaded by the rainforest canopy, to breathe the fresh air, and to observe the amazing natural world that is all around us.
Time: 9am - 11am
Meeting place: Venus Drive car park (at corner where the big rock signage and map are). Look for Andrew Tay (in pink T-shirt).
