Parts of Bukit Brown was lost to the building of the Lornie highway. The project was announced in 2011 and expected to be completed in 2016. Due to delays, the first phase was finally opened in late 2018. The final phase is slated to be completed by Q1, 2019. The extended duration of its construction have adverse impact on what remained. Fortunately, significant portions of the cemetery still offer refuge to flora and fauna. Join Goh Si Guim on a walk to see how this green haven had weathered the onslaught on development.
