For Nature Society (Singapore) Members Only
Time to pay another visit to Bukit Brown Cemetery after the completion of the Lornie Highway. We will explore Bukit Brown for its birds. Sections of this historical corner of Singapore was closed off for road construction, but there are still undisturbed areas for birding. Expect to see a mix of parkland, open country and forest (given the proximity to the Central Catchment Nature Reserve) birds such as bulbuls, doves, babblers, flowerpeckers, parakeets, sunbirds and woodpeckers.
More details and registration on the NSS website.
Time: 7.30am to 11am
Venue: Meet at 7.30 am at the access to Block 2, 5 (150m after Sime Road and 200m before merging into Northbound Lornie Highway). More details on the NSS website.
