24 Sep (Wed): Conservation Chat at Nature Society (Singapore)

Meet at The Sunflower (NSS Office) for a Conservation Chat with members of the Conservation Committee. This is an on-going series of information gathering and discussions for members concerned about Singapore’s nature conservation situation.

Proposed agenda:
1) The government’s Sustainable Singapore Project;
2) NSS Kranji Marsh Adoption.

The objectives of our Chat are:
1) to keep members in touch with the latest conservation efforts carried out by the Conservation Committee;
2) to obtain feedback on what we are doing or plan to do;
3) to obtain information on existing or impending problems in nature areas unknown to us (eg. unannounced landfill; poaching etc); and
4) to obtain ideas for conservation efforts as well as the possible ways whereby members can contribute.

This session also aims to foster camaraderie for the common cause of nature conservation. Please come and let us have a piece of your mind. Contact Dr Ho Hua Chew at hohc@starhub.net.sg if you have any queries.
