Join members of Nature Society (Singapore) and enjoy a tranquil nature and heritage walk through one of our oldest Chinese cemeteries. Pause awhile and marvel at the elaborately sculptured gravestones of some of our famous forefathers - Chong Pang, Boon Lay, Joo Chiat, Kheam Hock and Ong Sam Leong. Amidst the lush vegetation of majestic Rain Trees, strangling figs, scrambling ferns and mistletoes,- we may see Kingfishers, Drongos, Flameback woodpeckers, Sunbirds and Flowerpeckers as well as many butterflies and dragonflies. Bukit Brown Cemetery has been gazetted for housing development by the URA.
This walk is open to the public.
