Dr. Hogan will also share about his exciting experiences as a National Geographic Explorer, and take his audience through an insightful session on our environment and his work in conservation.
Semakau Landfill is the world’s first-of-its-kind offshore landfill showcasing the unique co-existence with rich biodiversity. Pulau Semakau boasts of natural habitats that have been carefully preserved to be home to more than 300 species of plants and animals, some of them rare in this region.
The National Environment Agency (NEA) has partnered National Geographic Channel (NGC) to present Nature Journeys, featuring Semakau Landfill’s eco-haven in new light, through the eyes of National Geographic Explorer, ecologist and host of NGC television programme Monster Fish, Dr. Zeb Hogan.
