Nature-loving guides from The Green Volunteers will walk you through the grounds of Fort Canning park, which has undergone a series of transformations over the centuries. Though much of the original vegetation has been lost over time, active greening efforts have converted the ex-military fort into a tranquil oasis, lush with magnificent trees.
Meet our Towering Kapok tree, Flaky Gelam tree, Gnarled Madras Thorn and many more.
Learn how plants and animals co-exist and depend on one another for survival while you immerse yourself in gentle birdsong and cicadas calls.
The walk in free. For enquiries and registration: lim_shen_jean@nparks.gov.sg or call 6636 2393.
Time: 4-5.30 pm
