20 Jan (Sat): Butterfly Walk at Pasir Ris Park

Pasir Ris Park’s 6 ha mangrove patch and surrounding vegetation is home to over 60 butterfly species. More than 15 of these are considered rare. Veteran butterfly watcher Simon Chan will point out butterflies that live in mangrove associated vegetation. The Kitchen Garden and newly-built Pasir Ris-Tampines Nature Way next to Pasir Ris Park are also huge draws for the Crow and Tiger butterflies.
NSS Kids attending the walk with their parents will have a dedicated kids guide.
