18 Mar (Sun): Exploring Butterflies at Jurong Eco-Garden

The 5-ha Jurong Eco-Garden (JEG) is the green lungs of Clean Tech Park, comprising a hill forest, an earth trail through secondary forest, freshwater swamp vegetation and a rocky stream. It also has a butterfly garden with nectar and host plants. On a good morning, many species can be seen including the Common Birdwing, Tailed Jay, Leopard, Blue Pansy, Grey Pansy, Great Eggfly and Orange Emigrant. In the secondary and hill forests, rarer species such as the Banded Swallowtail, Dark Tit, Fourline Blue and Ambon Onyx have been spotted.
