9 Aug (Thu): Durian Walk at MacRitchie Forest

What better way to celebrate National Day than with a walk at MacRitchie Forest along with our favourite fruit of all time— durian! Not only will we be looking for the wild Singapore durian tree, Durio singaporensis, we will also get to observe many interesting flora and fauna along the way.
The walk is in support of the Love Our MacRitchie Forest (LOMF) movement. Just as we call this island our home and show our pride, many of our biodiversity call the forest their home. Be wowed by the flying lizard, greater racket-tailed drongo, cool bugs, and the colugo! Do note that the entire route will be around 4.8 km long. Last of all, we will proceed to have a hearty meal of durians from a nearby stall after the walk at your own expense.

Walk is free of charge
