Istana opens to public on Labour Day

SINGAPORE : The Istana will be open to the public on Labour Day on Thursday, from 8:30am to 6pm.
There will be performances by Teck Whye Primary School, Juying Secondary School, Singapore Chinese Girls' School and Pioneer Junior College.
Admission is free for Singaporeans and Singapore permanent residents. Other visitors need to pay S$1.
For S$2, visitors can tour some function rooms in the Istana, which displays gifts presented to the president and the prime minister by foreign dignitaries.
Proceeds from the sale of souvenirs and all entrance fees will be donated to the Community Chest. - CNA/de
