This seminar by Dr Lorraine Elliott, Senior Fellow in International Relations, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, The Australian National University briefly reviews of some of the recent arguments about climate and conflict that have dominated the 'climate security' debate. It also explores how and why there is a need to move beyond this to take into account issues such as human security, vulnerability and the importance of adaptation as well as mitigation.
