This month, one of our regulars - Calvin Quek - will be giving a talk centred on corporate citizenship. We are hoping to have another speaker but that is waiting to be confirmed.
Calvin will be presenting Citibank's corporate citizenship and volunteerism program and how the company goes about being a better more engaged citizen. He willl talk about Citi's microfinance programs, financial education seminars and how it plans to tackle climate change. Most of the talk will focus on ways to craft effective corporate citizenship programs, and how NGOs can better partner with corporates. If there's enough time, he might touch on Socially Responsible Investments and Philanthropy.
