Mike Horn is recognised worldwide as one of the greatest modern day explorers. He began his journey by setting challenges for himself – swimming the rivers, sailing the oceans, surviving alone in different environments and in extreme weather conditions, confronting all elements of nature, and continually pushing himself to his physical and mental limits.
“The problem today is that we are losing contact with nature, forgetting its beauty, and most importantly, its overwhelming power,” he has said. In 2008, he began his Pangaea expedition, which aims to “cultivate respect for the environment and the protection of its resources for the sake of future generations.”
Hear Mike discuss his Pangaea journey, and be inspired to redefine, rediscover, and make a difference for the world in this talk.
