22 Nov (Sun): Wild Isle Discovery workshops for kids - Rainforests

Take a walk on the wild side with Cicada Tree Eco-Place and learn all about Sentosa’s island habitats, plants and animals. Come learn all about our rainforest — how plants and animals live and interact with one another. This lesson will comprise a slide-talk on Singapore’s rainforest and take us on a walk through Sentosa’s Imbiah Nature Trail. We will learn about the many different types of plants and animals which call a rainforest home.

The Wild Isle Discovery workshops focus on biodiversity in our beautiful outdoors. Kids from 5 – 12 years old can learn in the living classroom of Sentosa. Learn and apply skills to: observe, compare, classify and infer.

Each workshop includes a 45 minute presentation, hands-on activities, showcasing of preserved and live specimens (where suitable) and a nature-guided walk to the habitat in focus. Materials will be provided for the walks and workshops.
