for Nature Society (Singapore) members only
This session is led by Yong Ding Li. Situated in a densely populated corner of Singapore, Bukit Batok Nature Park is indeed a green gem. This patch of woods is no bigger than the Botanical Gardens, yet supports a surprising variety of birds including locally threatened ones like the Violet Cuckoo and the Changeable Hawk- Eagle. It is also one of the best places in Southeast Asia to see the highly threatened Straw-headed Bulbul.
Time: 7.30am. Meet at the main entrance of the Park along Bukit Batok East Ave 2.
