for Nature Society (Singapore) members only.
Kent Ridge Road runs along the length of the once wooded `spine' of the National University Campus. It has seen drastic changes over the decades as the campus expanded to accommodate more disciplines, students and associated facilities. We will take a leisurely stroll on the ridge to admire the native and introduced plants and to observe the progress of a reforestation effort by NUS in terms of conservation ideas, such as a conservation corridor, that we have encountered in previous walks.
Time: 8.30am. Meet at the junction of South Buona Vista Road and Stockport Road (accessible by SBS service 200).
