For the kids, Earth Day specials include a guided walk at the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden with a feature on reduce-reuse-recycle and kid's special event at Sungei Buloh
For youths, there's a special design workshop called No, I'm not a plastic bag! at the National Library.
And a talk on Earth Mindfulness by Joe Lim of the Singapore Environment Council.
Come for a free screening of the award-winning "Inconvenient Truth" at the National Library and Singapore Botanic Gardens.
A special event is the Asian Dive Expo (ADEX) during which the International Year of the Reef will be launched.
Another special event is the sports fishing at Pulau Semakau with the Sports Fishing Association of Singapore who practice catch and release.

In the mangroves, special events to celebrate Earth Day special guided walk at the Pasir Ris mangroves. Or the regular guided walk at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve on Saturday or Sunday.
For the more active, there's PowerWalk at Bishan Park or Sun Plaza Park.
For Nature Society (Singapore) members only, there are a butterfly walk at Mount Faber Park, plant walk at Fort Canning Park
